With recent research undertaken by CMHAA identifying the need for more awareness and training on practical workplace skills for early in career employees, this panel session explores how to effectively navigate important conversations in the workplace. With high stakes and emotions as well as differing opinions, these conversations are critical to lean into for our long-term wellbeing but often cause a sense of dread and unease, particularly, for those early in their career.

Hosted by a member of CMHAA’s EIC Committee, Hayden Rolls, the discussion featured two outstanding panelists:
Dr Mark Cross – Clinical Psychiatrist, lecturer, author and public speaker
Rebecca Hofmann – Customer Experience Initiatives Manager, Allianz Australia Insurance

Together, Dr Cross and Rebecca reflected on leading research and lived experience to help us effectively navigate those important conversations and arrive at better outcomes for all parties.
